Orchestra Tropical | The Sound Of Orchestra Tropical

£17.00

Label: Disco Amigo
Genre: Kaseko
Release: 1979
Country: Suriname
Grading: VG/VG (12” LP)

The first of two albums recorded by this tropical orchestra from Suriname. The beauty of kaseko is that you know what to expect, high flying vocals, rolling drums and colourful horns culminating in a tropical lilt, but within the grooves of this record lies “Jepie Joe”. It has all of the above and a subtle sombre undertone, making it wonderfully unique and a refreshing aberration from the norm. Record has hairlines, scuffs and plays with light background noise throughout. Sleeve has noticeable corner and edge wear.
